Current Licensed Peddlers

Applications for a Peddler License may be obtained in person from the Clerk's Office or online:

Applicants will submit the completed application to the Clerk’s Office and must pay a nonrefundable $50.00 application fee at this time. Staff will review the application to ensure it is complete. The Clerk’s staff will submit the completed application to the Ordinance Department for review and investigation.

No license will be issued until the Ordinance Department approves the application and notifies the Clerk’s Office of the approval.

If the Ordinance Department approves the license, the license will be issued by the Clerk’s Office upon receipt of the $50.00 License Issuance Fee.

The license will expire at the end of the calendar year for which it has been issued.

Required documents:

  • Michigan Driver's License or other official photo identification.
  • Health Department Inspection (if food or drinks are involved).

*No license fee shall be charged to any person selling produce which he has raised himself, who has attained the age of 65 years, or who shows evidence of being an honorably discharged military veteran
