Engine 14-1

In March of 2016, YTFD took delivery on a Rescue Pumper designed to replace two aging vehicles in our fleet and carry more advanced equipment. It is also decorated with graphics to commemorate Historic Willow Run, Rosie the Riveter and the B-24 Bomber. This 2016 Rescue Pumper made by Spartan is capable of pumping over 1500 gallons of water per minute and carries 750 gallons of water on board. It also carries the heavy extrication equipment including the new cordless Jaws of Life. In addition, there are other specialized equipment for most any type of emergency which might arise. It is normally dispatched from the Central Station.

After 17 years of frontline service, in March of 2016 this 1999 American LaFrance Pumper was put in an auxiliary roll and replaced with a newer, more modern apparatus. The newly renamed Engine 14-5 will be called upon when any other apparatus are in for maintenance. This apparatus has the capability of pumping over 1500 gallons of water per minute and carries 750 gallons of water on board. This truck carries a variety of firefighting appliances and tools as well as basic medical equipment. It is normally housed at the Central Station.Photo of Fire Engine 14-2
Engine 14-5
A 1999 American LaFrance Pumper/Ladder capable of pumping 1500 gallons of water per minute. The truck has a 1000-gallon water tank on board and carries a variety of firefighting tools, appliances, 116' of ground ladders, as well as basic medical equipment. The 50' "Telesquirt Ladder" is permanently inoperable requiring its engine (E) designation opposed to ladder (L).

Engine 14-3 & 14-4 (The Spartan Metro Star Twins)
14-3 and 14-4 are identical in every way. These 2019 Spartan Metro Star pumpers are capable of pumping 1500 gallons of water per minute. They carry 1000 gallons of water on board. They also carry a variety of firefighting appliances and tools including battery operated "Jaws of Life" hydraulic tools for extrication, water rescue equipment, as well as basic medical equipment. They are equipped with foam system, booster reel, and thermal imaging camera. They will be dispatched from Station 3 and Station 4.
Spartan-Metro-Star-Twins-14-3-and-14-4
Engine 14-6 & 14-7 (The Crimson Twins)
14-6 and 14-7 are identical in every way. These 2008 Crimson pumpers are capable of pumping 1500 gallons of water per minute. They carry 750 gallons of water on board. The also carry a variety of firefighting appliances and tools, the Jaws of Life combination tools for extrication, water rescue equipment, as well as basic medical equipment. They are equipped with light tower, foam system and back up camera. They will be in reserve status from Station 3 and Station 4.
