Shelter Rental
Thinking of planning a wedding, reunion, business picnic, or a get together with family and friends? Why not choose a shelter in one of our beautiful parks. Each park offers unique features and facilities. Shelter rentals include the building/patio area, grills and picnic tables. Most of the shelters have play equipment nearby and many are located by athletic facilities.

To reserve a shelter with Ypsilanti Township, please fill out the Shelter Use Permit Application return it to the Community Center front desk.

Host a Special Event
If you or your organization are interested in hosting a special event (car shows, 5K's, fishing derby's, etc.) in our parks that may require additional attention outside of a traditional shelter or facility reservation, please complete the Special Event Permit Application. Following completion of the form, Ypsilanti Township Recreation staff will review the application and contact the applicant as it relates to any questions that may arise, fees due, on-site or logistics meetings, and scheduling a review time with the Ypsilanti Township Park Commission.
